First, we have a ‘tentative’ travel schedule, pending a successful court date. If all goes well we should have an embassy date of July 3. Meaning we will be in Ethiopia the first week in July. YAY!!! Next week we’ll know for sure after our court date.
Secondly, have I mentioned Supergirl is now officially potty-trained. Yes, for probably over a month now she has been wearing ‘big girl pants’ with pull-ups only at night time. While there have been a few accidents it has actually gone amazingly well. She basically decided it was time, and Daddy-O was brave enough to put her in big girl pants full-time and now here we are. Go us!! I dropped off her application to preschool today, she can start in September after her birthday… She will go 3 mornings a week. She’s getting SO BIG!!! At this moment she is brushing my hair and telling me “mommy, your hairs getting so long”
We also had this conversation tonight. “I love you mommy” “I love you too!” “You are my mother” “yes, I am” “yes, and daddy is my guy”
