Today he turns one year old! Happy birthday to you little guy!
It does seem a little weird celebrating a one year birthday after only having him home for three months… We are having his party tomorrow, so pictures will come later. Also, they did a little trick-or-treating today and he made THE cutest pirate EVER!!! I promise…pictures later.
Stupid computer October 15, 2007
So our laptop is dead. I am not sure what happened, I was at work when it all went down. But apparently it was very bad… Our other computer is in the basement, which means in order to post anything I must have time to go to the basement without children… In other words, posts may be a little scanty until we can get our laptop fixed. As a quick update, everyone is doing awesomely well. Boomer’s birthday is in 2 weeks. He is pulling up on everything and is getting good at scooting down the furniture. He is into EVERYTHING and is very very fast! Very fast…
Supergirl is still debating her Halloween costume. It has gone from candy to an orange kitty to frankenstein to a baby back to frankenstein and then yesterday morning when I asked it sort of went like this.
Me: what do you want to be for Halloween?
SG: Sauce!
Me: What?!?!?!
SG: Sauce!
Me: What kind of sauce?
SG: Strawberry sauce!
So I guess we’ll see. I honestly have no idea what to expect at this point, I just hope as it gets closer she will stick to something…

Stuff October 4, 2007
Let’s see…where to start….
- I’ve started my regular work schedule again, so between that and class I’ve been a little busy…
- We are in the process of readopting Boomer. Daddy-O is in charge of this, but I think it’s almost done.
- Supergirl wants to be ‘candy’ for Halloween. Costume suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
- My work situation may be changing in the near future—more on that later.
- Boomer is a wild little man. He is VERY mobile now (even if it is just the army crawl). He thinks pulling up is the greatest thing ever.
- On that same subject, the kid flat out loses his mind in the bathtub now. He likes to stand up and throw himself into the water, it’s only successful if he goes completely under and makes a HUGE splash. The other night Supergirl wanted to take a bath with him. In the split second I let go of his arm to grab her soap he jumped out of the bathtub. Literally. He went head-first onto the floor, flipped himself over and both of them started dying laughing. I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry. I chose to laugh. What can you do?
