Looking for a good book April 30, 2009

Okay, so since I quit my job I have decided to try to get some reading done (something I haven’t done in a very long time). Books I have read in the past 2 months include:
Pride and Prejudice

A Brave New World

The Great Gatsby

Great Expectations

The Hunger Games

Nineteen Minutes

The Host

Frankenstein (currently reading this one)

I need to return the host to the library this week but have been unable to decide what to replace it with…. Dilemma!
Any suggestions???

Fatigue April 17, 2009

I have been SO tired lately. Granted I have also had a cold, but it’s basically gone now, and I was tired before my nose ever started running. I have to say I have always been a pretty laid-back, lethargic person who needs lots of sleep. It’s just who I am. But sometimes the tiredness seems to take over me. I don’t get anything done around the house, I have to drag myself out of bed in the morning, and just sort of drift through the day. At these times I find the kids super overwhelming.
I have been trying to work out, but I truly have to make myself. I can honestly say I hate it. There’s nothing I dread more than putting my running shoes on.
I’m trying to eat better and am willing myself to take vitamins, but I still feel very exhausted.
BLAH!! Warm sunshine, please help me out here…

Ok, so their new uncle can be rather dramatic at times Here he is fake crying and Boomer clearly thinks he might be crazy.

This was the day of all the fires in Oklahoma. Those are not clouds but all the red dust in the air from the wind. I cannot believe how windy it was!!

On Saturday the kids and I are headed to my parents to meet my new little brother.  I am very very excited.  I promise to start posting more pics when I get back.  I have been doing a lot of procrastinating, and then actual working this week, and then back to the same ol’ when we get back.  I know, you can’t wait  I may also have a little video of Boomer singing….
