April Fools

I am sitting here thinking of devious things I can do to my kids tomorrow. Last year we tested the April Fool’s Day practical joke waters by packing a plastic lunch in Supergirl’s lunchbox. According to her, she was not tricked at all. I like to blame it on her teacher for delivering her ‘real’ lunch too quickly.

Plans for this year SO far include the following: switching the clothes I have laid out for them tomorrow (put Boomer’s in her room and her’s in his…), switch all the shoes in their shoe bins, put her lunchbox in his backpack and his in hers, switch their car seats, and call each the other’s name all morning… That will at least cover the morning—but what to do after school…
