Beach Adventures, Part 2

Introducing Mr. Crabs (he was a catch and release—only Daddy-O and Supergirl somehow thought releasing him on the 3rd floor deck made sense–“I thought he would be fine if he landed in the sand”–and he immediately ran sideways across the deck and came to a very tragic and abrupt end on the boardwalk below… Crab suicide is a serious problem.)

Breakfast with a pirate treasure hunt (the kids actually thought this was pretty lame).

Coke in a glass bottle–the best!

Putt-putt—Boomer got 2 hole-in-one’s with his patented style.

Hiking: I made the kids go, but they had a good time. We went out about a mile to see ‘gator lake,’ they were quite disappointed we didn’t see any gators.

Daddy-O and the kids did this for about an hour and a half, until Supergirl told him “I can’t see very well” while her face had gone white and her lips blue. She came very close to passing out from heat exhaustion. Thank GOODNESS she did not pass out–especially while up there in the harness, or I don’t know what we would have done. A few minutes in the shade with a drink and she was in much better shape. She still says it was awesome šŸ™‚

Boomer on his way to ask if he is big enough.

Guess that’s a yes

Off they go

The kid has no fear
